„trial 721“ is informed by the methodology of clinical studies. the septets and duet are composed following modern avantgarde techniques and represent the rigour of science. in contrast, the improvised solo pieces stand for the subjectivity of the probands involved in such regulated processes. their unpredictability, vulnerability and structural religiosity don’t really fit into the system, but you can’t ignore them either.

„rosenzweig“ is a modal jazz composition performed on solo acoustic guitar.
